How your information is used
Updated October 3, 2026. This notice describes the information used by AI CreditLab’s current tools.
Your account and saved work
Clerk handles account sign-in and authentication. Saved plans, questionnaire choices, progress, and dispute tracking records are stored using Supabase and associated with your account identifier. Dispute tracking records include the company, credit bureau, and status you enter.
Before you create an account
Unfinished questionnaire choices are kept in this browser tab’s session storage so you can return through signup. They expire from use after 24 hours and are cleared after your plan is saved. Closing the tab clears session storage. Public letter previews use fictional examples.
Letter details
Template drafting uses the facts you enter, including your name, mailing address, company, and description of the report error. Template downloads are prepared by our server. Download and generation usage is recorded to enforce plan allowances. Do not enter a Social Security number or full account number.
AI-assisted drafts
If you choose an AI draft and agree to send your details, those letter details are sent to OpenAI to generate wording. The request is configured with storage disabled. OpenAI’s own processing and retention terms still apply. You can use structured template letters without requesting AI drafting.
Hosting, payments, and usage measurement
Vercel hosts this site. When available, Stripe processes subscription checkout and billing. Payment card details are entered through Stripe’s checkout. We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page visits and events such as starting a plan, saving a plan, or downloading a letter. Our custom events do not include questionnaire answers, letter contents, names, addresses, or account identifiers. Analytics URLs omit query strings and fragments.
Your choices
You can use the public examples without an account, stop before saving a questionnaire, and choose not to request AI drafting. Authentication providers manage their own account settings. This notice does not promise a particular retention period or automatic deletion of saved application records.
